Pedro Feria Pino

Bio

Pedro Feria Pino is a creative and accomplished Director of Photography and director with over 15 years of experience working in both studio and field environments. With an extensive background in reality television, documentary filmmaking, and artistic storytelling, Pedro's work spans diverse genres and styles.

Pedro started out in Puerto Rico as a Stringer Cameraman for Reuters News. From there, he worked with local fashion magazines where he started the first fashion-centric television show in Puerto Rico called Ego Moda, showcasing local fashion designers, runways, and up-and-coming Puerto Rican fashion photographers. In 2010, Pedro moved to New York City, where he worked at a small television station and met his future co-creator of Washington Heights.

Pedro is also an accomplished photographer. In the jungles of Guatemala, Pedro filmed Mayan rituals and hunted rattlesnakes en route to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Livingston for ABC Family/Univision's travel show "Strange Medicine." His ability to immerse himself in different cultures and capture their essence highlights his versatility and commitment to authentic storytelling.

Pedro's extensive work with VICE further demonstrates his range and adaptability. He covered everything from cooking shows and underground boxing to the fabulous Vogue-style ballroom competitions featured in the show "My House." His contributions have helped bring niche and underground cultures to mainstream audiences with authenticity and respect.

He made a significant mark in the industry by co-creating "Washington Heights," the first Latino-centric reality TV show for MTV. The show highlighted the vibrant culture and stories of the Latino community in Washington Heights, New York City, bringing authentic Latino voices to the forefront of mainstream media.

Pedro spends his time between Miami, New York, and Puerto Rico.
